Subscription Update (June 19-25)

Other than watching anime and blogging, a lot of my time on the internet is spent on Youtube watching AMVs. Before I really got into blogging, I was obsessed with Youtube, and I checked my subscription box religiously. I needed to see every video that everyone one of my subscriptions had uploaded. However, Youtube is crappy, and a lot of the time, people's videos wouldn't even show up in my updates. Nowadays, I go on maybe once or twice a day as opposed to keeping a tab open all the time. This week I have found some pretty awesome AMVs that have been uploaded, so I'm going to share them with you, honorable reader. I'm planning on making this a weekly segment, so you'll likely see another one up a week from now. :)

Vellure - 3 in 1
Editor(s): vellure
Anime: mix
Music: Dancing on My Own by Robyn, Physical by Olivia N. John and Jane Lynch, Targa by Russ Chimes, and Never Look Back by Russ Chimes
Thoughts: I've always loved vellure's colorful videos. He usually picks pop or techno music and matches the footage to the beat almost perfectly. He hasn't uploaded any videos for a while, so it was nice seeing such a new video from him. :)

Dreampod MEP
Editor(s): Akenization, Luna, Replay Studios, Jazzy, darkreu, tkfx, Katzie, and RiceAMV
Anime: The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, Otome Youkai Zakuro, Hakuoki, No Kami No Agito Gin'Iro, Fate Stay Night, Halo Legends: Prototype, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Kurozuka, Wonderful Days
Music: Are Not We All Running
Thoughts: In case you were wondering, MEP stands for Multi Editor Project, and it's when a bunch of AMV editors get together and make a video together, each editor doing a predetermined track that varies in length for each MEP. I really love the choice of music in this particular MEP, and the production value is very high. It's an all around great video.

[A|S] Moe Moe Rebellion

Editor(s): VivifxAMV
Anime: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Kimi ga Nozumu Ein, Zero no Tsukaima, MM!, kanokon, KissxSis, The World Only God Knows, Seitokai Yakuindomo, Macorss Frontier, Princess Lover, Lucky Star, Saki, High School of the Dead, Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou, Full Metal Panic, Inukami, Onii-chan no Koto, Gurren Lagann, Mayoi Neko Overrun, Sora no Otoshimono, Shuffle, Angel Beats, Ichigo 100%, Madoka Magica, Moetan, Kampfer, Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan, Soul Eater, Death Note, Rosario + Vampire, Kamen no Maid Guy, Code Geass, Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny, Black Lagoon, Vampire Knight, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Kuragehime, Maria Holic, Sensitive Pornograph, Junjou Romantica, Papa to Kiss in the Dark, Okane ga Nai, Kizuna no Kara Swagi
Music: The Way We Talk by The Maine, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya OST, We're Not Gonna Take It by Bif Naked
Thoughts: I really love this AMV because of the story that's told through it and how well the editor matched it to the beat. You can clearly see how much time and effort went into making this AMV fantastic. I really hope that it wins a prize in Otakon because it definitely deserves it.

YUMMY{taiga&ryuji♥ [130+subs]

Editor(s): BlueAnima
Anime: Toradora!
Music: YummyYummy by Ohio-Express
I love the simple, colorful AMVs like this one, and Toradora is such a great anime. The song really fits, too. Very cute. :)

[A|S] E for Extinction
 Editor(s): xXFlowaSanXx
Anime: Ao no Exorcist
Music: E for Extinction by Thousand Foot Krutch
Thoughts: I love practically every AnE AMV that shows up, and I really like the song used in here as well.

honey trap【TSS - Private Ludwig】

Editor(s): RinProductions
Anime: Hetalia
Music: Honey Trap by Jolin Tsai
Thoughts: This was actually posted at the beginning of the month, but I love it so much. xD "I need your satisfaction." The timing is practically perfect, and the editor makes Germany look so damn sexy.

[APH] touchin' on my - BFT

Editor(s): piratemaki
Anime: Hetalia
Music: Touchin' On My by 3OH!3
Thoughts: I know; another Hetalia video, but people make so many awesome ones... Again, the timing in this one is impeccable, and I love how she zooms in on people's faces on a different beat. Great video. :)

And that's it for this week's subscription update! I'll have some more next week as well, so please check it out!

Also, the weekly anime review where I talk about what I watched this week is here.

*Edit: Why in the hell is it double spacing? Please help! I have no idea how to fix it...
